After nearly ten years in development, Lost Soul Aside is poised for release. What began as solo developer Yang Bing's passion project evolved into a flagship title under Sony's 'China Hero Project,' with Bing now spearheading Shanghai-based Ultizero Games as founder and CEO.

As the May 30 launch date for PlayStation 5 and PC approaches, IGN spoke with Yang Bing about the game's lengthy development journey. What started as an individual's creative vision transformed into a State of Play featured trailer, building anticipation for this single-player action title. Since Yang Bing's viral 2016 reveal, comparisons to Final Fantasy's aesthetic and Devil May Cry's combat have fueled excitement around the project.
