RYFFC is a secure and welcoming space where people can share thoughts on the news without fear of public backlash. It reshapes the negative perception surrounding modern news by democratizing how news is created, consumed, and discussed—all within a safe and engaging social environment. This is a NEW WAY to experience NEWS.

RYFFC welcomes all perspectives, articles, and opinions. While our app has no censorship, that doesn’t mean the experience has to be unsettling. We’ve built anti-bullying measures and a comprehensive self-moderation system so users can avoid posts they aren’t ready to see.

Ryff

A key feature of RYFFC is the Ryff—a short, impactful take by the user about an article. Designed for brevity, each Ryff is limited to 88 characters.

Ryffers share quick reactions on articles, pop culture, and news, moving beyond traditional comment threads. When you find a Ryff you want to respond to, you can engage with that Ryffer through a Ryff Back.

At RYFFC, we take turns—so make your words count. You can only Ryff once on someone else’s Ryff until they reply.

Self Moderation

On RYFFC, users choose how much controversial or sensitive content they wish to see at any moment. We offer three moderation levels: G, M, and BE.

G stands for “General” audience. This level is ideal for users who prefer mild or non-controversial content.

M stands for “Moderate” audience. Choose this if you're comfortable with mild to moderately controversial content.

BE stands for “Bleeding Edge” audience. This level gives users access to all content, including highly controversial topics.

Voting

Alongside self-moderation, users can vote to help determine the moderation level assigned to each article.

Superboost

Superboost is a fun way to amplify your "Like." When you come across a post you truly appreciate, give it an extra boost.

Like/Dislike

Same like/dislike, fresh interaction. Instead of tapping a thumb, try swiping left or right on the article.
