Get ready, Tarnished! The first network test for Elden Ring Nightreign begins accepting registrations on January 10th, 2025. This limited beta will test the game's online functionality ahead of its planned 2025 release.
Key Details:
- Registration Opens: January 10th, 2025.
- Platforms: PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S only. Note: This excludes PS4, Xbox One, and PC, representing less than half the target platforms.
- Test Dates: February 2025 (Specific dates to be announced).
- No Cross-Platform Play: The network test, mirroring the final game, will not support cross-platform multiplayer.
- Party Size: Solo or three-player parties only. No duo option.
- Progress Transfer: Progress made during the test is not expected to carry over to the full game.

- Register, specifying your preferred platform (PS5 or Xbox Series X/S).
- Await a confirmation email (expected by February 2025).
- Participate in the test during February 2025.
Limited Scope:
While the test will provide valuable data on the game's network performance, its exclusion of several target platforms and the lack of cross-platform play are notable limitations. Further beta tests may be conducted in the future, but this has not yet been confirmed by FromSoftware. The developers have also confirmed that the game will not support two-player parties.
