Netflix and Supercell have officially announced an animated series that will bring the Clash video game universe to television, drawing from the worlds of Clash of Clans and Clash Royale.
The series is currently in pre-production and will expand on the chaotic fun of the games, as stated in a Netflix press release. The streaming platform also outlined the plot, which centers on an eager but overwhelmed Barbarian who must unite a band of unlikely heroes to protect their village and deal with the comically complex politics of battle.
Official Clash of Clans social media channels joined in the celebration, posting: "Sound the horns, raise the banners, and reinforce your village walls—Clash is coming to @Netflix!" The announcement included a lighthearted teaser with developers sharing the news in a group video call. "Get ready for a new animated series starring your favorite mustachioed Barbarian and his fellow high-pitched, hog-riding allies. Charge!"

Netflix's team is clearly excited to reimagine the beloved gaming world. John Derderian, Vice President of Animation, remarked: "For over ten years, Clash has been a worldwide gaming sensation—packed with humor, action, and memorable characters that make it an ideal fit for an animated series."
"Alongside the talented teams at Supercell, Fletcher Moules, and Ron Weiner, we're bringing the fun, chaos, and soul of the Clash universe to life like never before. We can’t wait for both long-time fans and new viewers to dive into the adventure."
