Genshin Impact Version 5.4: Introducing Yumemizuki Mizuki, a 5-Star Anemo Catalyst
Yumemizuki Mizuki, a new 5-Star Anemo character hailing from Inazuma, is set to debut in Genshin Impact's Version 5.4. Following the Natlan storyline conclusion in Version 5.3, this update offers a smaller-scale Inazuma adventure, centered around a yokai-themed Flagship Event featuring Yae Miko.
Mizuki's arrival as a playable character, heavily rumored since late 2024, has been confirmed. Beta testing revealed her as a 5-Star Anemo Catalyst, essentially a premium version of Sucrose with added healing capabilities. This versatile role makes her a valuable asset, particularly in Taser teams.
While initially slated for a Standard Banner debut, Mizuki's official reveal (slightly delayed from the anticipated drip marketing schedule) showcased her as a tapir yokai, psychologist, and majority owner of Aisa Bathhouse. Her close friendship with Yae Miko strongly suggests her introduction during the Version 5.4 Flagship Event, further complemented by a dedicated Story Quest.
Yumemizuki Mizuki Details:
- Title: Embrace of Enchanting Dreams
- Rarity: 5-Star
- Vision: Anemo
- Weapon: Catalyst
- Constellation: Tapirus Somniator
Version 5.4's Event Banners will feature Mizuki and Wriothesley in the first half, followed by Furina and Sigewinne in the second. Post-Version 5.4, Mizuki will join the Standard Banner, prompting collection-focused players to prioritize acquiring her Signature Weapon.
A notable contrast to the content-rich Version 5.3, Version 5.4 presents a more streamlined experience. It includes only one new character, one Story Quest, no new Artifact Domain, and no map expansion. Consequently, the Primogem reward pool will be smaller than usual. Players aiming for characters like Furina or Wriothesley should strategically save their Lantern Rite rewards.
