Xbox Game Pass Bolsters Lineup with Recent Additions

Xbox Game Pass Welcomes New Titles in Early January 2025

Microsoft has unveiled its initial Xbox Game Pass lineup for 2025, confirming several anticipated additions and departures. The announcement, made via the official Xbox blog on January 7th, 2025, reveals a diverse selection of games arriving throughout the month.

Several titles, including Road 96, My Time at Sandrock, and Diablo, will join the service. Road 96, already available, marks a return to the platform after a previous stint. The remaining titles will launch later in January, with most arriving on January 8th and two more on the 14th.

New Games Joining Xbox Game Pass in January 2025:

• Road 96 (Available January 7th - All tiers)
• Lightyear Frontier (Preview - January 8th - Standard and above)
• My Time at Sandrock (January 8th - Standard and above)
• Robin Hood – Sherwood Builders (January 8th - Standard and above)
• Rolling Hills (January 8th - Standard and above)
• UFC 5 (January 14th - Ultimate only)
• Diablo (January 14th - Ultimate and PC Game Pass)

Noteworthy is the exclusivity of Diablo (Ultimate and PC Game Pass) and UFC 5 (Ultimate only). Other titles, including the early access Lightyear Frontier, are accessible with a standard subscription.

Alongside the new games, several Game Pass Ultimate perks launched on January 7th, including weapon charms for Apex Legends and DLC for First Descendant, Vigor, and Metaball.

Departing Games (January 15th, 2025):

The announcement also confirms the departure of six games on January 15th:

• Common'hood
• Escape Academy
• Exoprimal
• Figment
• Insurgency Sandstorm
• Those Who Remain
