"Schedule I Patch 5 Updates Game to Version 0.3.3f14, Content Update Coming This Weekend"

Author : Thomas Update:May 04,2025

Schedule I, the drug dealer simulation game, has continued its meteoric rise on Steam with the release of Patch 5, updating the game to version 0.3.3f14. This patch follows the game's overnight viral success, which has seen it become the top-selling title on the platform, outpacing big names like Monster Hunter Wilds, GTA 5, and Marvel Rivals. Developed and published by the Australian indie developer Tyler, known as TVGS, Schedule I has players navigating the gritty streets of Hyland Point as they ascend from small-time dealers to powerful kingpins.

What's caught the attention of the game's burgeoning community is the announcement that the first content update is slated for release this weekend. Tyler expressed his astonishment at the game's reception, stating on Reddit, "I never expected this kind of response! At the moment, I’m just trying to stay focused and get patches out ASAP. Also looking forward to getting started on content updates as soon as all major bugs are patched."

With Patch 5, Tyler has addressed several critical issues, including employee, multiplayer, and casino bugs. A significant improvement includes the implementation of pathfinding validity checks to reduce crashes, a solution inspired by feedback from the community on Discord. Here are the detailed patch notes for Schedule I Update 5 version 0.3.3f14:

Tweaks/Improvements

  • Added an active display setting to choose which monitor the game displays on.
  • Botanists will now automatically move product from their supplies to drying racks.
  • Owned vehicles are now visible on the map app.
  • Implemented a few validity checks/failsafes for NPC pathfinding and warping to prevent crashes on certain chipsets.
  • Refactored employee item movement behaviour for improved efficiency.
  • Implemented NPC effects culling at a certain distance to boost performance.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed non-host clients sometimes unable to hit/stand in blackjack.
  • Resolved a quest UI bug causing infinite loading screens in multiplayer.
  • Fixed clipboard selections not reassigning without manual clearing (employee beds, botanist supplies, etc).
  • Corrected the dealer prematurely revealing its hand to non-host players in blackjack.
  • Fixed the first-person jacket animation to eliminate jankiness.
  • Corrected the 'Master Chef' achievement being awarded prematurely.
  • Fixed some property null references causing multiplayer loading/desync issues.
  • Made the drying rack 'dry' button non-interactable if the input slot is reserved by an employee.
  • Resolved NPC 'stay in building' behaviour errors for non-host players.
  • Fixed NPC voiceover emitters throwing null references.

Tyler has promised sneak peeks of the upcoming content update soon.
