Flat2VR Studios has exciting news for fans of the iconic trash shooter, Postal 2, which first hit the shelves 22 years ago. The studio has announced a virtual reality adaptation, and they've introduced the project with a captivating debut trailer that showcases the game's signature humor and chaotic gameplay.
In the trailer, we follow the Dude as he gathers signatures to support the development of Postal 2 VR. The developers then reveal some of the remake's standout features, including a redesigned shooting mechanic specifically tailored for VR controllers, an updated user interface, and a refreshed mini-map system. These enhancements promise to bring a fresh yet familiar experience to long-time fans and newcomers alike.
A Steam page for Postal 2: VR is now live, offering a wealth of information including screenshots, system requirements, and additional details. To enjoy the PC version, players will need at least Windows 10, an Intel Core i5-4590 or AMD Ryzen 5 1500X CPU, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon R9 290 GPU, and 8 GB of RAM. While Russian voiceovers won't be included, subtitles will be provided to ensure accessibility.
Despite the modern upgrades, the core experience remains true to the original game. Players will still be tasked with completing everyday errands such as grocery shopping and returning books to the library. However, they have the freedom to abandon normalcy at any moment and embrace absolute mayhem, staying true to Postal 2's notorious reputation.
Postal 2 VR will be available across multiple platforms, including SteamVR, PS VR2, Quest 2, and Quest 3, ensuring that a wide range of VR enthusiasts can dive into the chaotic world of the Dude.
