Pokémon TCG Pocket previews new trading feature and gives fresh details on implementation

Pokémon TCG Pocket is adding a highly anticipated trading system! This new feature, launching later this month, lets you swap cards with friends, mirroring real-world trading.

One of the drawbacks of digital TCGs is the absence of the tactile experience of physical card collecting and trading. Pokémon TCG Pocket aims to address this with its new trading mechanic.

How Trading Works:

  • Trading is currently limited to cards of the same rarity (1-4 stars) between friends.
  • Traded cards are consumed; you won't retain a copy after trading.
