Kojima Confirms Metal Gear Solid Delta Coming 2025

Konami's developers have provided an update on the highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater remake. Producer Noriaki Okamura confirmed in a recent 4Gamer interview that the studio's top priority for 2025 is delivering a refined, high-quality remake that meets fan expectations.

Okamura stated that the game is currently playable from start to finish, with the remaining development time dedicated to polishing details and enhancing overall quality. While initial speculation suggested a 2024 release, the game is now officially targeted for launch next year. The remake will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

The remake promises to faithfully capture the essence of the original while integrating modern gameplay mechanics and stunning visuals. Beyond graphical enhancements, Okamura hinted at new features designed to elevate the overall gaming experience.

Konami unveiled a captivating trailer for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater in late September. The over two-minute trailer showcased key moments, including the protagonist, antagonists, thrilling action sequences like an airdrop and a firefight, promising an exciting and faithful reimagining of the classic title.
