Citadelle Des Morts' main Easter Egg quest presents a series of intricate challenges. After attuning the Points of Power, players face the task of generating and directing light beams to reveal the Paladin's Brooch—a crucial step in obtaining the Light Incantation. This guide details the process.
Generating and Directing Light Beams
This multi-stage process involves manipulating light beams using crystals and mirrors.
1. Locating and Directing the First Light Beam:
Begin in the Dining Hall. Locate the crystal mounted on the north wall, above Vulture-Aid. Shoot the crystal's base to deflect the light beam downwards. Proceed to the second floor, east side of the Dining Hall. Shoot the mirror to deflect the beam left, targeting the second crystal. A successful deflection will illuminate the second crystal.
2. Directing the Second Light Beam:
With the second crystal illuminated, direct the beam toward the crystal above the Lion Knight. Position yourself in the southwest corner of the Dining Hall's second floor and shoot the base of the crystal to redirect the beam.
3. Directing the Third Light Beam:
Next, redirect the beam from the third crystal into the Alchemical Lab. Stand on the north side of the Dining Hall, facing the crystal, and shoot its base to achieve this.
4. Directing the Fourth Light Beam:
In the Alchemical Lab, direct the beam to the crystal above the Arsenal Workbench. Stand near the room's exit, on the same side as the fourth crystal, and shoot its base to redirect the beam.
5. Revealing the Paladin's Brooch:
Finally, direct the beam from the last crystal to the table left of the Alchemical Lab entrance to the Dining Hall. Stand in a similar position to the previous step, shooting the crystal's base to redirect the beam. This action will reveal the Paladin's Brooch, enabling progression to the Light Ritual.
