Garena has just launched Delta Force, the highly anticipated revival of the iconic tactical shooter series, now available on iOS and Android. This multiplatform release brings a thrilling mix of tactical extraction gameplay and expansive 24v24 battles, where players can engage in combat across land, sea, and air using a variety of vehicles.
Delta Force arrives with the new season, Eclipse Vigil, which introduces a night and dusk-themed map for Operations and Warfare modes. This season also features new night-vision goggles and a new operator, Nox, who brings strategic and stealth-based abilities to the battlefield. The excitement for the game's release was palpable, with over 25 million pre-registrations, fueled by promises of no pay-to-win mechanics, an in-game marketplace for gear, cross-progression, and other core features.
Light up the nightThe Eclipse Vigil season doesn't stop at new maps and operators. Garena has introduced a suite of additional features, including the much-requested Kill Cam, a staple in first-person shooters. The sound design has been overhauled to enhance gameplay, especially on low-light maps like Blackout and Trench Lines.
New weapons, gadgets, and vehicles are also part of this update, along with a new event called Critical Point, which dynamically changes the Threshold map. This addition provides a familiar taste of massive multiplayer battles for fans of similar genres.
