Parallel Experiment: A Co-op Crime Thriller Puzzler Coming to Steam and Mobile
Eleven Puzzles' highly anticipated co-op crime thriller puzzler, Parallel Experiment, is set to launch on Steam this March. A mobile demo for iOS and Android is also planned for later in the year, with a full mobile release to follow.
This unique co-op experience, reminiscent of titles like Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, casts players as detectives Ally and Old Dog. Players, often situated in separate locations, must communicate clues and collaborate to solve over 80 intricate puzzles.
The game features an in-game notebook for clue tracking, cooperative dialogue, a stylish noir comic book aesthetic, and even playful interactions like window-knocking and partner-poking to add to the fun.
Unraveling the Mystery!
Cross-platform play is a key feature, enabling seamless collaboration between desktop and mobile players. While desktop players might utilize Discord, mobile players can explore creative, in-person communication and distraction methods.
While the co-op puzzle genre isn't new, Parallel Experiment benefits from extensive testing to optimize the mobile experience.
