Game Rules:

• Tiến Lên Đếm Lá (Tien Len Dem La): Similar to Southern Tiến Lên, but the winner takes all, with each remaining card counted as one bet, and pairs of pigs doubling the stakes.
• Phỏm (Tá Lả): A classic Northern Vietnamese game where combinations of phỏm (triples, quads, and flushes) give an advantage. Players hold 9 cards, and the game scores based on leftover cards, with no phỏm resulting in a loss, and three phỏm achieving an "Ù."
• Sâm Lốc (Sam Loc): Similar to 10-card Tiến Lên, but equal ranks don't win. Players can declare Sâm at the start (similar to stealing the deal). The winner takes all, calculated as in Tiến Lên Đếm Lá.
• Cát Tê: Players receive 6 cards and bid for the deal over four rounds. Ace of spades starts, and the game focuses on winning the deal to "cook" and "open."
• Liêng (Cào Tố): A 3-card game allowing for betting and bluffing. Straights and three-of-a-kind have high winning chances, encouraging aggressive betting. Even hands with 8 or 9 points are strong.
