- This game is the first entry in the Essence series: a classic, turn-based Japanese RPG.

- You are an adventurer investigating strange rumors in the kingdom. Captured and imprisoned, your only escape is to conquer the dungeon.

※ Game Tips

1. Visit the goddess to enhance your stats, return to the dungeon, or save your game.

2. Early on, equip a Great Sword to attack all enemies at once.

3. In The Wild, a useful item found in snake habitats lets you avoid encounters.

4. If an area is too challenging, try descending to the next floor to find better gear.

5. Losing a battle costs you half of your current gold.

6. Evasion is calculated based on the Agility difference between you and the enemy at the start of combat.

7. All negative status effects are removed when a battle ends.

8. Special weapon attacks ignore enemy Defense.

9. The maximum amount of gold you can carry is 999G.

10. Be sure to check bookshelves for crucial information.

※ Parameters

- Attack : determines standard and special attack power

- Defense : reduces damage taken from physical attacks

- Focus : governs magic attack strength

- Resistance : reduces damage taken from energy attacks

- Agility : affects evasion chance and turn order in battle
