WPSApp

Ever wondered if your WiFi network is secure? Enter WPSApp, your handy tool for checking the security of your network using the WPS protocol. This protocol lets you connect to WiFi networks using an 8-digit pin number that's often pre-set in the router. The catch? Many routers from different manufacturers have pins that are either known or can be calculated. That's where WPSApp comes in.

WPSApp uses these pins to attempt connections and determine if your network is vulnerable. It employs various known algorithms for pin generation and default pins. Additionally, it calculates default keys for certain routers, lets you view WiFi passwords stored on your device, scans connected devices, and analyzes WiFi channel quality.

Using WPSApp is straightforward. When you scan networks around you, you'll see different icons indicating their security status. Networks with a red cross are "secure" because they've disabled the WPS protocol and their default password is unknown. Those with a question mark have WPS enabled, but the pin is unknown; here, WPSApp lets you try common pins. Finally, networks with a green tick are likely vulnerable—they have WPS enabled and a known pin. They might also appear green if the router has WPS disabled but the password is known, allowing connection with the key.

To access passwords and connect on Android 9/10, along with some additional features, you'll need to be a Root user.

Note that not all networks are vulnerable, and even if a network appears vulnerable, it's not a 100% guarantee. Many companies have updated their router firmware to fix these issues.

If you find your network is vulnerable, take action: turn off WPS and change your password to a strong, personalized one.

Some Samsung models encrypt passwords, displaying them as long hexadecimal strings. If you need help decrypting them, look online or reach out to me.

Pin connection doesn't work on LG models with Android 7 (Nougat) due to issues with LG's software.
