How to Play

*Town of Salem* accommodates between 7 to 15 players, who are randomly assigned to different alignments, including Town, Mafia, Serial Killers, Arsonists, and Neutrals. If you're a Town member—the good guys—your mission is to uncover and eliminate the Mafia and other villains before they can take you down. The twist? No one knows who's a Town member and who's a villain.

On the other hand, if you're playing an evil role, like a Serial Killer, you'll need to secretly murder Town members under the cover of night while dodging detection.

Roles

With 33 unique roles, *Town of Salem* offers a fresh experience every time. Before the game begins, players gather in a lobby where the host can pick which roles will be included. Once the game starts, roles are randomly assigned from the chosen list, and each player receives a role card detailing their abilities and alignment. Game Phases

Night

The night phase is when most roles exercise their abilities. Serial Killers quietly take out their targets, Doctors work to heal those who have been attacked, and Sheriffs investigate others for any suspicious activity.

Day

During the day phase, Town members come together to discuss and pinpoint who they believe might be an evil role. As the voting phase kicks off, a majority vote from the Town sends someone to trial.

Defense

The defense phase is your chance to convince the Town of your innocence. Craft a compelling argument or risk facing the gallows!

Judgement

In the judgement phase, the Town votes on the accused's fate. Players can vote guilty, innocent, or abstain. If guilty votes outnumber innocent votes, the defendant meets their end by hanging!

Customization

Personalize your *Town of Salem* experience by selecting your map, character, pet, lobby icon, death animation, house, and even a custom name. Your choices will be visible to other players throughout the game.
