Catch Records for English/Welsh Under 10m Vessels Fishing in UK Waters

Welcome to our app designed to help you create and submit catch records for all English and Welsh under 10 metre (U10m) flag vessels that fish in UK waters. By using this service, you contribute to the sustainable management of fishing levels, as the data collected assists UK fishing authorities in making informed decisions.

Who Can Use This Service?

This service is available to:

• Registered vessel owners
• Skippers

Registered vessel owners will receive an invite email. The timing of this email depends on the size of your vessel. You have one calendar month from the receipt of the email to register and begin using the service.

Skippers should contact the vessel owner to request an invitation.

Note: If you are a member of a producer organisation and lease quota, you should not use this online service. Instead, continue to record your catch using a paper logbook.

What This Service Replaces

This service replaces the following:

• The NEP1 form
• The MSAR1 form (though local IFCAs may require additional information depending on your location)
• The requirement to complete a logbook when leasing fish quota and/or when fishing in two ICES areas (currently IV4/VIId and VIId/VIIe)
