• Ford ("WAIT"): Leave the radio powered on for 30 minutes. If you see "LOCKED" or "LOCKED10," hold button 6 for ten seconds. You may get a few more attempts. "LOCKED13" indicates a semi-permanent block requiring dealer assistance.
• VW/Volkswagen ("SAFE" or "SAFE2"): Leave the unit on for 60 minutes after three unsuccessful attempts.
