VatAlert

Your Personal VATSIM Controller Notification App

You're halfway through your four-hour online flight from LGAV to EGLL. There's been no ATC coverage, so you step away briefly for a snack. The moment you leave your cockpit, an ATC controller comes online. They send you a private message, but you don't respond. When you return, you see the message and contact ATC, only to hear: "I called you 25 minutes ago—you're now leaving my airspace."

Make sure this never happens again! With this simple app, just enter your callsign, and you'll receive notifications as soon as you enter or approach an ATC-controlled area. You can set your preferred notification distance from the controlled area (the default is 20 NM). The app integrates directly with VATSIM data servers.

VatAlert is essential for all VATSIM pilots who want to stay informed about active controllers. Receive instant alerts when a VATSIM controller comes online in your flight area—or as you approach controlled airspace. Never miss an opportunity to interact with ATC and enjoy a more immersive flight simulation experience.

ATC Tracking

Feel like flying today from your favorite airport with online ATC? No more manually checking for controller availability. Just enter the specific ATC station you want alerts for, or type the first few letters of the ICAO code to be notified of all matching stations as they come online (e.g., LG matches LGAV_APP, LGAV_TWR, LGGG_CTR, LGTS_APP, etc.).

Note: The VATSIM Code of Conduct permits pilots to be absent from the cockpit for up to 30 minutes with valid reason. Each pilot is responsible for adhering to VATSIM regulations.
