As a devoted billiards fan, I spent a long time searching for a realistic 2D pool game but came up empty-handed.

While there are some excellent 3D pool games available, I personally favor the 2D style. I find that 3D gameplay makes it difficult to judge distances between balls and control the cue's power accurately, not to mention it can be disorienting.

Unable to find a satisfying 2D option, I decided to create my own. By collaborating with fellow pool-enthusiast developers, Pool Empire was born.
