WoW Extends Subscription Offer for 2025

World of Warcraft's New 6-Month Subscription Rewards: Timbered Sky Snake and More!

World of Warcraft is offering exciting new in-game rewards for players who subscribe for at least six months! The highlight is the majestic Timbered Sky Snake mount for retail WoW and the adorable Timbered Air Snakelet pet for Classic WoW. These items, inspired by the 2025 Year of the Wood Snake, will be granted to subscribers by January 31, 2025, with a redemption deadline of January 31, 2026.

This tradition of bonus in-game items for extended subscriptions, started in 2018, continues with a fresh reward set each January and July, often themed around the lunar zodiac. Last year's Auspicious Arborwyrm, reflecting the Year of the Wood Dragon, was a popular choice.

The Timbered Sky Snake is a flying mount for the current WoW expansion, while the Timbered Air Snakelet is its miniature counterpart for Cataclysm Classic. These rewards are automatically included with a six-month subscription, but can also be purchased separately from the in-game store ($25 for the mount, $10 for the pet). Note that the Timbered Sky Snakelet pet for retail WoW is available for $10 on the Battle.net shop but isn't part of the subscription bundle.

In addition to the six-month rewards, 12-month subscribers also receive the Startouched Furline, Gigantic Grrloc, and Charming Courier mounts for retail WoW, and the Lava Drake mount and Swoopy pet for Classic. This also includes the July six-month subscription rewards, making it a highly attractive offer for mount collectors.
