Vinland Tales Is a New Viking Survival Game from the Makers of Daisho: Survival of a Samurai

Colossi Games has dropped a new game on Android called Vinland Tales: Viking Survival. Their previous games include other survival games like Daisho: Survival of a Samurai and Gladiators: Survival in Rome.

What’s the Plot in Vinland Tales: Viking Survival?

You start with sailing away from Iceland when suddenly your ship hits an unknown land. A Viking trying to survive, you’re also the leader of a whole clan tasked with building a colony. Basically, Vinland Tales is a survival action RPG that mixes combat, crafting and village-building.

The game offers all the staples of survival games like chopping trees, mining stones and hunting deer. You start every session ready to explore, fight and conquer. Your first mission is to set up camp. And then you start building a whole Viking village.

Rescued clansmen will wander in looking for a new home, and you’ll need to put them to work. Build houses, set up defense structures and keep everyone busy refining resources. Catch a glimpse of Vinland Tales: Viking Survival right below!

In the game, you’ll be crafting everything from food to potions. Crafting also includes workstations like hunting cabins, sawhorses and stone cutters, cooking pots, tailoring tables and iron ore smelters.

There’s a Lot to Explore!

Vinland is a harsh, frosty land filled with dark caves, swampy terrain and dangerous pine forests. You’ll unravel the story of Leif Eriksson, take part in raids and build worship sites for Thor and Odin.

You also get an arsenal to craft, from spears to bows. And you can upgrade your weapons to make them more deadly. So, head out and face armies of Ragnarök and bandit bosses. There are quests, talent trees, achievements and clan PvP leaderboards.
