Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl features many engaging NPC interactions, often leading to small quests. One such unique encounter is with Lyonchyk Sprat in Rookie Village. This guide details how to complete his "Joke" quest.
This optional quest might be missed if players focus solely on main missions. Here's how to find and complete it:
Finding and Starting the Joke Quest
Locate Lyonchyk Sprat in Rookie Village (Cordon region). Upon reaching the village center, he'll call out to Skif. He'll attempt a joke, failing miserably, and then ask for your help. Agreeing to help him deliver a joke to a group of stalkers around a bonfire initiates the quest.
Delivering the Joke
Lyonchyk instructs Skif to climb into the attic of a nearby house (a ladder is visible near the bonfire). Wait there.
You'll be given several joke options. Choosing any option results in a successful joke delivery and quest completion. The audience's reaction varies depending on the joke selected.
Reward and Failure Condition
After the joke, descend and speak to Lyonchyk. He'll thank you and reward you with 900 coupons.
However, if you don't select a joke option and let Lyonchyk try alone, he'll fail, run off crying, and the quest will be considered failed.
This seemingly minor quest offers a fun, lighthearted break from the game's main narrative and a small but welcome reward.
