The annual Pokémon GO Fest 2025 is set to bring Trainers together across Asia, the Americas, and Europe this summer, with exciting events lined up in Osaka, Paris, and Jersey City. Niantic has packed the festival with exclusive Pokémon encounters, special research tasks, limited-time merchandise, and a host of in-game rewards. Steam Pokémon Volcanion Makes Its Debut

Niantic is thrilled to invite Trainers from around the world to experience Pokémon GO Fest 2025, taking place this summer at three major global locations:

• May 29 – June 1 in Osaka, Japan (Expo ‘70 Commemorative Park)
• June 6 – June 8 in Jersey City, New Jersey, USA (Liberty State Park)
• June 13 – June 15 in Paris, France (Parc de Sceaux)

One of the event's most anticipated highlights is the debut appearance of the Steam Pokémon, Volcanion, in Pokémon GO. Trainers attending any of the regional events will have the chance to encounter Volcanion through an exclusive Special Research storyline. Please note that each player is eligible for only one Volcanion encounter, regardless of how many tickets they purchase. Additional tickets will instead grant Volcanion Candy.

Exclusive Pokémon GO Fest 2025 Merchandise Now Available for Pre-Order

Elevate your festival experience with officially licensed Pokémon GO Fest 2025 merchandise. Available options include a commemorative t-shirt, tote bag, hoodie, lapel pin, and Pokémon-themed backpacks featuring Pikachu, Gengar, and Wobuffet designs.

All items are available via pre-order only and must be claimed in person during the event. Supplies are limited, so don’t wait too long to place your order.

Please note: The Lapel Pin and limited edition Pikachu, Gengar, and Wobuffet backpacks are exclusive to the Jersey City and Paris events and will not be available for pickup in Osaka.

Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Global – Celebrate From Anywhere

Can’t attend the live events? No problem! Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Global will take place online over two days—June 28th and 29th—offering remote access to exclusive content for players worldwide.

Purchasing a Global event ticket grants access to the special Timed Research story featuring Volcanion, along with generous in-game bonuses such as:

• 5x Max Revives
• 5x Rare Candies
• 3x Premium Battle Passes

While tickets remain available for purchase until the end of the event on June 29th, Trainers who buy their tickets by April 15th and play Pokémon GO anytime between April 8th at 10:00 AM local time and April 15th at 10:00 AM local time will unlock a bonus Timed Research task that rewards an additional Skiddo encounter.
