Palworld's Dark Fragments: A Comprehensive Guide
Pocketpair's Palworld, renowned for its expansive open world and diverse Pals, offers a wealth of crafting materials. Among these, Dark Fragments stand out as a crucial component for high-tier accessories. This guide details how to acquire and utilize these elusive Feybreak exclusives.
How to Obtain Dark Fragments
Dark Fragments are exclusively obtained from Dark-elemental Pals residing on Feybreak Island. Unlike other regions, Pals found on the beaches and near the water are typically not Dark-elemental. Venture inland to locate these elusive creatures. Note that some Pals, such as Starryon, are only found at night unless they are boss variants.
Capturing or defeating these Pals (using Ultimate or Exotic Spheres is recommended) yields 1-3 Dark Fragments per encounter. The drop rate isn't guaranteed, but diligent hunting will yield sufficient quantities.
The following Dark-elemental Pals yield Dark Fragments:
Pal Name | Drop Rate |
---|---|
Starryon | 1-2 x Dark Fragments |
Omascul | 1-2 x Dark Fragments |
Splatterina | 2-3 x Dark Fragments |
Dazzi Noct | 1 x Dark Fragment |
Kitsun Noct | 1-2 x Dark Fragments |
Starryon (Midnight Blue Mane) | 1-2 x Dark Fragments |
Rampaging Starryon | 1-2 x Dark Fragments |
Omascul (Hundred-Faced Apostle) | 1-2 x Dark Fragments |
Splatterina (Crismon Butcher) | 2-3 x Dark Fragments |
Dazzi Noct (Born of the Thunderclouds) | 1 x Dark Fragment |
Kitsun Noct (Guardian of the Dark Flame) | 1-2 x Dark Fragments |
Rampaging Omascul | 1-2 x Dark Fragments |
Rampaging Splatterina | 2-3 x Dark Fragments |
While rare, single Dark Fragments may randomly appear on the ground throughout Feybreak, further encouraging thorough exploration.
