Accessing the Dark Aether Nexus and Initial Pack-a-Punch Location
Unlike previous maps, simply reaching the Pack-a-Punch location isn't enough. You must first open the Doorway to Nowhere. This teleporter leads to the Dark Aether nexus.
Find the Doorway to Nowhere in the Subterranean Temple. Progress through the map, opening doors until you reach the Temple. At the altar, interact with the Amulet (you'll start with it). The Doorway will then open.
The Pack-a-Punch machine initially resides within the Dark Aether Nexus, near the center. However, its location changes.
Locating the Pack-a-Punch: Multiple Locations and How to Find It
The Pack-a-Punch has two possible spawning points:
- Dark Aether Nexus: Its initial and recurring location.
- Roman Mausoleum: An ornate ruin atop the Dig Site. This is its alternative location.
Use your Tac-Map to determine its location. The main map and the Dark Aether Nexus have separate Tac-Maps. If the Pack-a-Punch icon isn't on one map, it's on the other.
Alternatively, consult the illuminated stone slab. Lit areas on the slab indicate the Pack-a-Punch's location. If the symbol is on the main map section, head there. If it's on a separate island section, it's in the Dark Aether Nexus.
