Onimusha: State of Play Trailer Unlocks Epic Samurai Action

The most captivating trailer from the recent State of Play showcase undoubtedly belongs to the latest Onimusha entry. Onimusha: Way of the Sword unveils its protagonist, Miyamoto Musashi, strikingly rendered using the likeness of the iconic Toshiro Mifune.

The trailer depicts Musashi engaging in a dynamic and often humorous battle against demons that have invaded Kyoto. His struggles against these hellish creatures are punctuated by moments of comical evasion.

Story-wise, Musashi, through his unwavering faith, gains possession of the Oni Gauntlet, empowering him to combat the demonic forces plaguing the mortal realm. Absorbing the souls of his vanquished foes replenishes his health and unlocks special abilities.
