Looking for a Nintendo Switch (not the Switch 2)? Here's a deal to check out. AliExpress currently has the Nintendo Switch OLED model for just $237.49 with free shipping from a US-based warehouse. AliExpress provides several buyer protections, including a small credit for delayed packages and a full refund if your order is lost, damaged, or hasn't arrived within 20 days.
This is a brand-new, authentic Nintendo Switch, but note that it's an imported version. The manufacturer's warranty won't be valid in the United States, though you do get a 15-day return window. The packaging and included materials might also be in a foreign language. Functionally, there are no issues—every Switch console is region-free, so you can use it in the US without any trouble, and you can set English as your default language just like on a domestic unit.
Update: This deal was originally listed on Woot. The Woot sale has ended, but AliExpress is now offering a comparable import model at an even lower price.

If you can manage the slightly higher price of the Switch OLED compared to the standard model, it's definitely worth the upgrade. The Nintendo Switch OLED boasts an OLED screen that delivers superior image quality over the original LCD. This means deeper blacks, richer colors, and smoother color gradations. Text appears sharper and is easier to read, too. While the screen size increase is modest (7 inches on the OLED versus 6.2 inches on the base model), the slimmer bezels make it feel noticeably larger. Other noteworthy improvements include a redesigned, sturdier kickstand, a built-in Ethernet port on the dock, and an exclusive white console with matching white Joy-Cons.
The Switch 2 is here, but the original Switch remains a solid choice
The new Nintendo Switch 2 is now on the market, but that doesn't mean the original Switch is obsolete. For one, the Switch 2 carries a significantly higher retail price of $449.99. Additionally, there's currently only one major new triple-A title available for it—Mario Kart World Tour—which sells for $79.99 unless you can snag one of the $500 bundles that includes the game. A handful of other games have been optimized for the Switch 2 with visual and performance upgrades, but that alone may not justify the extra cost. Personally, I'm waiting to buy a Switch 2 until more must-play exclusive games are released or a special themed edition catches my eye.
