Nintendo Denies Switch 2 Showcase Rumors for American Hardware Brand Genki

Following accessory maker Genki's CES 2025 presentation of a purported Nintendo Switch 2 prototype, Nintendo has issued a statement. The company clarified to CNET Japan and the Sankei Shimbun that the images and videos circulating are not official. Nintendo explicitly stated they did not provide Genki with any Switch 2 hardware.

Their website even features a dedicated page for upcoming Switch 2 accessories, complete with a detailed animated mockup.
