Monster Hunter Season V: Unveiling the Blossoming Blade

Monster Hunter Now's Season 5: The Blossoming Blade is almost here! Niantic has unveiled all the exciting details for the upcoming season, launching March 6th, 2025. Prepare for new challenges, weapons, a Season Pass, and formidable monsters.

Pre-Season Sneak Peek:

Before the main event, get ready for the arrival of the Chatacabra on February 28th! This marks its debut before its appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds. Season 5's official launch will also introduce Glavenus and Arzuros to the hunt.

Weapon Enhancements:

Expect balance adjustments to enhance the viability and enjoyment of all weapon types. The Sword & Shield receives a buff, improving its effectiveness against breakable parts like tails. The Perfect Rush Combo (SP) will reward precise timing with amplified power and more satisfying combos.

The Guard skill is also receiving a significant upgrade. Previously, leveling Guard offered minimal benefits, but now, higher skill levels will noticeably reduce damage taken while blocking. Further refinements will be detailed in the full patch notes on March 6th.

Celebrating Monster Hunter Now's 1.5-Year Anniversary on March 17th is a new trading feature! Exchange special materials earned from hunts and events for coveted rewards such as Item Box Expansions, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts, and Wyvern Gem Shards.
