The incident occurred on January 3rd, when NetEase's anti-cheat system mistakenly flagged players utilizing compatibility layers (such as those needed for Mac, Linux, and Steam Deck) as cheaters. Separately, the Marvel Rivals community is advocating for the implementation of character bans across all ranks. Currently, this feature is only available to Diamond-ranked players and above. While NetEase hasn't yet publicly addressed this request, the community's feedback is significant.
