The Lenovo Legion Go S with SteamOS comes in two configurations. The first model features an AMD Ryzen Z2 Go chip, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD, priced at $549.99, matching the cost of the 512GB OLED Steam Deck. The second, more powerful option includes an AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme chip, 32GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD, available for $749.99.
Both models offer a 120Hz gaming experience and come equipped with two USB-C ports. Storage can be expanded with a microSD card, and the devices feature trigger locks for hair triggers, enhancing gameplay in competitive shooters like Marvel Rivals.
With more powerful chips than the Steam Deck, the Legion Go S should be capable of running recent games that the Deck struggles with, such as Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Star Wars Outlaws, Dragon’s Dogma 2, and Monster Hunter Wilds.

Valve has also announced plans to make SteamOS available for other non-Steam Deck handhelds, suggesting that soon you'll be able to install SteamOS on a variety of handheld gaming PCs. This development could coincide with the launch of the SteamOS-based Legion Go S models. If you're seeking a device more powerful than the Steam Deck to run SteamOS, the Lenovo Legion Go S should be at the top of your list.
