A maneater is an animal that systematically hunts humans as part of its predatory behavior.

In the game, players take control of a female bull shark who must evolve and survive in an open world,

driven by revenge against the fisherman who scarred her as a pup and killed her mother.

single-player, open-world action RPG where YOU become the shark. Eat! Explore! Evolve!

Players can uncover hidden landmarks and tackle side objectives. While each region houses other predators

that will confront the player—like muskellunge, barracuda, alligators, sperm whales, orcas, and even other

sharks—they also feature their own apex predator, which is larger and distinct in appearance from the

regular species. These apex predators include a great barracuda, a shortfin mako, an American alligator, a great hammerhead,

a great white shark, an orca, and an albino sperm whale. Defeating them rewards the player with unique abilities.

The world responds dynamically. As the shark causes more chaos, human bounty hunters are sent to eliminate it.

If the shark succeeds in eliminating the lead hunters

The shark must hunt and consume other marine life like fish and turtles to gather essential nutrients,

including proteins, fats, minerals, and rare mutagenics. Players can also assault humans by causing coastal mayhem,

sinking yachts and ships, and knocking people off jet skis.
