LEGO Revives Simpsons Collaboration, Unveils Krusty Burger Set

Ay caramba! LEGO has officially announced the highly anticipated launch of a Simpsons-themed Krusty Burger set. This minifigure-scale creation is packed with Easter eggs and nostalgic references to the beloved classic era of The Simpsons. While LEGO The Simpsons: Krusty Burger isn’t available for preorder yet, it will retail for $209.99 and is intended for the 18+ age group. The general public can expect its release on June 4, but LEGO Insiders can enjoy Early Access starting June 1 by signing up for free here.

This marks the first Simpsons-themed build since 2018, when LEGO released two small Brickheadz figures of Homer Simpson and Krusty the Clown. Before that, the LEGO Simpsons lineup included just two sets: a massive 2,523-piece recreation of the Simpsons house (released in 2014) and a 2,179-piece version of the Kwik-E-Mart (launched in 2015). Both of those sets have since been retired, making the Krusty Burger announcement a welcome revival of a seemingly dormant franchise.

Available exclusively to LEGO Insiders from June 1 to June 7, and to everyone else starting June 4, the set retails at $209.99 at the LEGO Store. Comprised of 1,635 pieces, the Krusty Burger stands at 9 inches tall, 9.5 inches wide, and 7.5 inches deep. Its exterior draws inspiration from iconic fast-food chains like McDonald's, featuring details such as the drive-thru menu and window. The entire structure opens and closes on a hinge to reveal intricately designed interiors, including a kitchen, bathroom, and dining area. Two additional buildable elements accompany the main restaurant: the towering Krusty Burger sign and Homer’s Krusty-fied car from the Season Six episode “Homie the Clown.”

The set includes seven minifigures: Homer Simpson, Bart Simpson, Lisa Simpson, Farmer Krusty the Clown, Sideshow Bob, the Squeaky Voiced Teen, and Officer Lou. LEGO Insiders purchasing the set from June 1 to June 7—from either the online or brick-and-mortar LEGO Store—will receive a complimentary gift: a 123-piece set of The Simpsons Living Room, while supplies last.
