Marvel has released the official debut trailer for Ironheart, the highly anticipated MCU Disney+ series set to introduce a new era of heroism in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The show stars Dominique Thorne reprising her role as Riri Williams / Ironheart, following her introduction in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022). Anthony Ramos co-stars as Parker Robbins / The Hood, a complex figure whose motives remain shrouded in mystery. The trailer offers a compelling glimpse into the six-episode limited series, highlighting Riri’s transformation from a tech prodigy into a full-fledged superhero ready to step out of the shadows and into her own spotlight.
In the early stages of the story, Parker Robbins appears as a mentor-like figure aiming to guide Riri through the challenges of leadership and responsibility. However, the trailer teases that his intentions may not be entirely altruistic, hinting at a deeper, more dangerous side to his character.Produced by Ryan Coogler and part of the broader Phase 5 slate, Ironheart will launch with a three-episode premiere on June 24, starting at 6pm PT / 9pm ET exclusively on Disney+.
In Wakanda Forever, Riri describes her involvement in the events as akin to an “internship abroad.” Her expulsion from MIT sets the stage for The Hood’s provocative pitch: “Anyone who has accomplished anything has to do questionable things. Are you in or out?”
The trailer showcases thrilling moments of action and growth—Riri suits up in her advanced armor, takes flight, and later grounds herself mid-combat before delivering a powerful punch that sends a truck soaring dramatically over her head.
