Honkai: Star Rail Leak Shares Early Details About Anaxa

A recent leak from Honkai: Star Rail is giving early hints about some elements of upcoming character Anaxa's gameplay, suggesting he will boast a variety of useful abilities. The lead-up to the launch of Amphoreus has seen plenty of new characters teased by the HoYoverse sci-fi RPG, showing off several variants of Honkai Impact 3rd's "Flame-Chasers." HoYoverse has already unveiled four new characters coming in Amphoreus' early patches, with The Herta and Aglaea in Version 3.0 and Tribbie and Mydei coming with Version 3.1. A new leak shared by Honkai: Star Rail leaker Hellgirl is teasing the early gameplay details for new character Anaxa. According to the leak, Anaxa's kit will provide a wide range of utility to team comps utilizing the Flame-Chaser, offering weakness applications similar to Silver Wolf and delaying enemy actions. Anaxa is also expected to offer plenty of offensive uses, able to reduce an enemy's defense and adding additional damage to either his own or his allies' attacks. A release window has not been confirmed for Anaxa.

Anaxa's rumored kit within Honkai: Star Rail looks to combine powerful aspects of several different popular Star Rail characters. Silver Wolf has long been one of the game's most flexible picks for teams, thanks to her ability to implant Weaknesses onto enemies based on her team. Anaxa's reported DEF reduction within Honkai: Star Rail looks to provide similar utility to Pela, while his ability to delay an enemy's actions is a popular mechanic utilized by characters like Silver Wolf and Welt.

The wealth of options available to Anaxa look to set him among Honkai: Star Rail's most powerful supportive characters. The game's meta has long been dominated by premier supports like Ruan Mei and Robin, while the newly-released Sunday and Fugue have become popular choices following their launch. HoYoverse has also already teased a powerful new support coming with Version 3.1, with Tribbie expected to offer a more damage-oriented style of support.
