What is Gold Rush?
Gold Bars remain a crucial currency, allowing players to purchase items. This season introduces a twist: acquiring gold activates Gold Rush, a significant power-up boosting movement speed, pickaxe swing speed, and pickaxe structural damage.
Similar to Boons or Medallions, Gold Rush provides a competitive edge. While temporary, it's highly valuable. There are multiple ways to activate this beneficial Fortnite feature.

Activating Gold Rush
Unlike other abilities with single activation methods, Gold Rush offers flexibility. Immersion in gold-infused water instantly grants the boost. Multiple locations across the map contain this water, increasing the likelihood of encountering it.
For those who prefer a drier approach, Gold Veins—the source of Gold Bars—now offer Gold Rush upon mining. Shiny Shafts, Fletcher Kane's primary supply source, are ideal locations to find these veins. However, be cautious; Kane and his associates are heavily armed and won't surrender their wealth easily.
