Shuyu's Baffling Beetle Battle Bowl is a limited-time event in Genshin Impact Version 5.3, challenging players to beetle battles. This guide provides a straightforward walkthrough for easy completion of all five battles.

Event Requirements:

To participate, players must meet these prerequisites:

• Adventure Rank 20 or higher.
• Completion of the Mondstadt Archon Quest Prologue. Completing Xianyun's Story Quest "Grus Serena Chapter" adds context, as Shuyu is featured in this quest.

Gameplay Mechanics:

The event uses a simplified beetle battle system within the Teapot at Mt. Aocang. Players control an Onikabuto beetle using simple controls: Forward, Backward, and Jump. Stamina management is key, as movement and attacks consume stamina. Stronger attacks, like Piercing Strike (hold attack button), consume more stamina.

Battle Strategies:

The five stages feature unique opponents:

1. Staff Master (Basic Hilichurl): Repeated head attacks are effective. Dodge the marked attack zone.
2. Torch-Wielding Hilichurl Berserker: Target the head or the Pyro Slime it carries (especially when preparing to throw it).
3. Pyro Abyss Mage: Interrupt its spellcasting, then attack repeatedly. Dodge fireballs and flame pillars.
4. Cryo Abyss Mage: Employ the same strategy as the Pyro Abyss Mage.
5. Stonehide Lawachurl: Rapid attacks are crucial. A Geo Slime will appear; use Piercing Strike for maximum damage.

Difficulty and Rewards:

Choose "Focused Fight" (two-star difficulty) for optimal Primogem rewards (30-20 per stage). "Utmost Might" (three-star) offers Mora and Enhancement Ores but no Primogems. Consult the "Dossier on Opponent" for enemy behavior tips.

A co-op mode allows teaming up with other players.

Rewards:

Complete the event for a total of 420 Primogems (Utmost Might difficulty). Additional rewards include Hero's Wit, Sanctifying Unction, Mora, and Mystic Enhancement Ore.
