Genshin, GTA Hybrid Approved in China

Ananta, formerly known as Project Mugen, is poised for launch. This highly anticipated game, developed by NetEase Studios, Thunder Fire Studio, and Naked Rain, has already generated significant buzz. Early promotional materials showcase a unique blend of gameplay elements reminiscent of popular titles like Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, and even GTA, all presented within a captivating anime aesthetic.

The game's approved release in China signals a promising future. Ananta is slated for a 2025 release on PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile devices. A recently released trailer highlights Ananta as an open-world urban RPG, placing players in the role of an A.C.D. agent investigating the mysteries of the sun-kissed coastal city of Nova.

The developers highlight Ananta's blend of familiar environments with supernatural elements as a key driver of its global appeal. Key features include four-player team-based battles, a distinctive art style, and fluid, high-speed movement.
