GAMM Is the Biggest Game Museum in Italy Where You Can Share Pieces of Game History

Rome's newest attraction: GAMM, the city's largest video game museum! Now open to the public in Piazza della Repubblica, GAMM is the creation of Marco Accordi Rickards, a writer, journalist, professor, and CEO of Vigamus.

Rickards, a passionate advocate for video game preservation, describes GAMM as a journey through gaming history, technology, and interactive gameplay. The museum builds upon the success of Vigamus, another Roman gaming museum that has welcomed over two million visitors since 2012.

GAMM boasts 700 square meters of exhibit space across two floors, divided into three captivating thematic areas. Take a peek!

Explore GAMM's Interactive Exhibits:

• GAMMDOME: A digital playground featuring interactive stations and authentic gaming artifacts, including consoles and donated items. The experience is built around the 4 E Concept: Experience, Exhibition, Education, and Entertainment.

• PARC (Path of Arcadia): Journey back to the golden age of arcade games, showcasing classics from the late 1970s through the 1980s, with a touch of early 1990s nostalgia.

• HIP (Historical Playground): Delve into the mechanics of game design, exploring gameplay structures, interaction mechanics, and design principles. Consider it a behind-the-scenes look at gaming history.
