The holiday break is behind us, so let's dive back into some exciting gaming news! While we're all anticipating updates on the Nintendo Switch 2, today's focus is on a different fan favorite. Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio recently unveiled new gameplay footage for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, showcasing its Hawaiian pirate adventure and revealing key details.
The showcased video highlighted extensive ship customization, open-world sea exploration, thrilling naval battles, engaging mini-games, and diverse explorable locations. Goro Majima will boast two distinct combat styles: a swift, agile approach and a more brutal style utilizing short swords and pirate weaponry.
Players can assemble a unique crew of allies to aid in battles, exploration, and treasure hunting. The game promises the discovery of hidden islands and engaging original side quests.
A significant announcement came at the presentation's close: the highly anticipated "New Game+" mode will be a free post-launch addition via a patch. This marks a positive change from Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, where this mode was initially exclusive to the pricier edition, drawing criticism towards SEGA. This is excellent news, and with the game launching in just a month and a half, the wait won't be too long.
