*Final Destination: Bloodlines* is slashing its way through the global box office, surpassing the $100 million mark during its launch weekend. The film achieved an impressive split of $51 million domestically and $51 million internationally, totaling a remarkable $102 million globally. This sets a new record for the best opening weekend for any *Final Destination* movie. With such a strong start, *Bloodlines* is poised to potentially become the highest-grossing film in the franchise, surpassing the current record holder, *The Final Destination*, which earned $186.1 million in 2009.
This latest installment also appears to successfully breathe new life into a franchise that has been on hiatus since 2011's *Final Destination 5*, which grossed $157 million worldwide.
