Squad Busters is ditching Win Streaks! Get ready for major changes coming December 16th. The developers are removing the win streak system, citing its pressure-inducing nature rather than its intended celebratory effect.
Why the Change? When?
The win streak system, while offering extra rewards, often created unnecessary stress for players. To alleviate this, Squad Busters is removing the feature entirely starting December 16th. Your highest win streak will remain on your profile as a memento.
As compensation for the removal, players who reached certain win streak milestones (0-9, 10, 25, 50, and 100) before December 16th will receive exclusive emotes. Unfortunately, there will be no refunds for coins spent on boosting streaks. The developers explain this decision to maintain balance between free and paid players.

The community is divided on this change. While some welcome the reduced emphasis on "pay-to-win" mechanics, others are less enthusiastic about the compensation offered.
