Possible DOOM: The Dark Ages release date leaked

The upcoming Developer_Direct presentation, just two days away, appears to have had its biggest surprise spoiled. A major French gaming website, Gamekult, prematurely published an article revealing a May 15th release date for the highly anticipated DOOM: The Dark Ages. While the article was swiftly removed, its presence was noted in the site's RSS feed.

This corroborates earlier reports from insider NateTheHate, who also predicted a May release for DOOM: The Dark Ages. Two independent sources now suggest a similar launch window.

Microsoft is expected to officially announce DOOM: The Dark Ages this Thursday during their Developer_Direct showcase. This medieval-themed prequel to the modern DOOM duology promises the same visceral, brutal combat against the forces of Hell.
