Get Ready for Monster Hunter Wilds' Second Open Beta!
Missed the first Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta? A second chance arrives in early February, bringing new content and features! Here's how to join the hunt.
Face a New Threat: Gypceros!
Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto announced a second Open Beta Test phase, offering another opportunity to experience Monster Hunter Wilds before its February 28th launch. This follows the successful first beta.
The beta will run in two sessions: February 6th-9th and February 13th-16th, available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. This time, you'll face the returning Gypceros!
Carry over your character data from the first beta (but not progress) and transfer it to the full game. Participants receive in-game rewards: a Stuffed Felyne Teddy weapon charm and a special bonus item pack.
Tsujimoto explained the decision for a second beta, stating the team heard player requests for another chance to play and wanted to provide it. While recent community updates detailing improvements are still in development and won't be in this beta, the team is working hard to finalize the full game.
Monster Hunter Wilds launches February 28th, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Prepare for the hunt!
