These Masks are readily available throughout matches, making the collection straightforward. However, the subsequent quest requires a crucial step before returning to the lobby.
Upon acquiring a Mask, the next quest, "decide to use the Mask or rid yourself of it," will appear. This phrasing is intentionally ambiguous. To complete the quest, simply activate the Mask's power or remove it from your inventory – it's that simple.
While keeping the Mask is an option, using it immediately is highly recommended. Other players are actively hunting for Masks, and eliminating you to obtain one is a common tactic. Using your Mask first ensures you secure the XP without risking another search.
