Firaxis Games unveils the post-launch roadmap for Sid Meier's Civilization VII, detailing paid and free content updates throughout 2025 and beyond. This announcement, part of a recent livestream event, outlines substantial updates including new Leaders, Civilizations, and Natural Wonders.
The roadmap features two paid DLC collections:

Crossroads of the World Collection (Two Parts): Part one, launching in early March, includes Leader Ada Lovelace, four Natural Wonders, and the Carthage and Great Britain civilizations. Part two, arriving in late March, adds Leader Simon Bolivar and the Bulgaria and Nepal civilizations.

The Right Rule Collection: Scheduled for release this summer, this DLC will introduce two new leaders, four new civilizations, and four New World Wonders.
Free content will also be released alongside the paid DLC, including new Natural Wonder events and wonders themselves, such as the Bermuda Triangle and Mount Everest, throughout March and continuing into the year. Further free updates and content are planned from April through September. October 2025 and beyond will see continued support. Specific release dates for all content remain unannounced.
Beyond the DLC, a developer diary highlights future additions such as multiplayer team support, expanded lobby sizes, increased map variety, and modding tools, planned for release as soon as feasible. The team also emphasizes addressing bugs, balance adjustments, and quality-of-life improvements through regular updates.
The livestream also showcased multiplayer gameplay, demonstrating diverse victory strategies. A Q&A session addressed community questions.
Sid Meier's Civilization VII launches February 11th, 2024 for PC (Steam), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Early access for the Deluxe Edition begins February 6th, 2024.
