Get ready for the Pokémon Go Holiday Part One event! This festive celebration runs from December 17th to 22nd, bringing double XP for catching Pokémon, halved Egg hatch distances, and a host of special encounters.
New costumed Pokémon are making their debut, including a holiday-themed Dedenne (with a chance to catch a shiny!), and the first-ever appearance of Shiny Sandygast. Wild encounters will feature Alolan Sandshrew, Swinub, and Darumaka, while raids offer a diverse lineup.
One-star raids feature winter-outfitted Pikachu and Psyduck. Three-star raids bring the challenge with Glaceon (Undersea Holiday outfit) and Cryogonal, and Mega Latias and Mega Latios will appear in Mega Raids.
7km Eggs hold exciting possibilities, including Hisuian Growlithe or a holiday-ribboned Cubchoo. Complete event-themed Field Research tasks (including a paid Timed Research option), Collection Challenges (for Stardust and Poké Balls), and take advantage of PokéStop Showcases to display your festive catches.
