The Sims 4's latest update brings back a classic antagonist: the Burglar, now known as Robin Banks! This guide details how to encounter and apprehend this nocturnal thief.
Robin Banks operates under the cover of darkness, targeting Sims' homes to pilfer valuable possessions. While her appearances are infrequent, activating the new "Heist Havoc" Lot Challenge significantly increases the probability of a visit. This challenge also increases the chances of a successful getaway, even with alarms triggered.
Catching the Burglar:
If you're lucky enough to catch Robin Banks in the act, several methods exist for apprehending her. Calling the police (a feature reinstated in this update) is one option. Alternatively, Sims can engage in fisticuffs; fitter Sims naturally have a higher success rate.
Several gameplay expansions offer unique advantages in thwarting Robin Banks:
- Dogs: Can chase her away. (Requires: Cats & Dogs Expansion Pack)
- Werewolves: Can intimidate her into retreat. (Requires: Werewolves Game Pack)
- Spellcasters: Possess spells ranging from confusion to transformations. (Requires: Realm of Magic Game Pack)
- Servos: Can utilize their defense matrix to immobilize her. (Requires: Discover University Expansion Pack)
- Scientists: Can employ the Freeze Ray. (Requires: Get to Work Expansion Pack)
- Vampires: Might enjoy a quick snack before sending her packing. (Requires: Vampires Game Pack)
